This is the Omen is a quartet creating groovable, reflective and spiritual ambiances. Lacking harmonic instruments, the quartet focuses on captivating motifs and melodies played by trumpet and tenor saxophone, supported by heavy bass lines and vibrant drum rhythms. With lyrical inspiration from The Comet is Coming, Nubya Garcia and Christian Scott, their sound is a musical journey to be interpreted at as a story being told.
